Rumored is a unique fashion brand that centres the design of their garments around crowd sourcing their consumers’ demands, creating accessibility to trendy and timeless staples. Rumored’s noteworthy integration of customer feedback caters to a large gap that exists in the fashion market and emphasizes the importance of accessibility, both through affordability and catering to their customers voices.

Rumored’s goal was to redesign their existing website and implement their new branding in order for their digital identity to align with their evolving brand and its audience. As the lead website designer on this project, I worked to strategically implement their new branding while focusing on curating a timeless yet impactful feel for the website. As Rumored is an e-commerce company, the user experience is of the upmost significance. The experience of the user was at the core of every stage of my design process, which is evident through the responsive design of the website. Responsive design was a crucial consideration in the design process as the majority of Rumored’s website traffic is derived from instagram, resulting in most of their customers initially encountering the website in the mobile layout. Additionally, much of Rumored’s content that is displayed on their website is user generated content, meaning that the ability to incorporate both photo and video content seamlessly throughout the site was of great importance to the client.

During the process of designing the Rumored e-commerce website, I was responsible for creating and designing proposal presentations, the Figma design mock-ups, and the smooth handover of all designs and assets to developers.
