Bleeding Love

‘Bleeding Love’ is an art installation that would be in located in downtown Toronto’s Nathan Philips Square. The idea behind the piece is to reinforce the idea that love is love and has no bounds. By creating a piece that celebrates the LGBTQ community and love overall, the piece will spark conversation in the hope of creating a more accepting community throughout the city. By placing ‘Bleeding Love’ in Nathan Philips Square, which is located in front of Toronto City Hall, it will catch the eyes of politicians and tourists to provoke conversations around acceptance and identity. Nathan Philips Square is a place that the people of Toronto frequent and that tourists are attracted to, making this sculpture a fitting installation for celebrating all the members within the Toronto community and communities abroad.
